Hitched the Fjule team with Duke 3 abreast yesterday. First multi-hitch for Duke ever. Pulled a frozen in disc out of the ground and brought it to the barn. No issues at all! Ready for more?

I can’t upload from this iPad, so I’ll add pictures later!

That looks really good! Question: does it take all 3 to pull that size of disc if it was on unfrozen ground? {I’m needing to find a small disc & am wondering what it takes to pull one the size you’ve got pictured}.

    Looks great!

Looks like you used 2 team sets of lines so you have complete control of all three horses? That seems smart.

Robert, my Fjules have pulled that disc as a team. But, they are strong. Its my friends disc, but if it was mine, I think I’d use 3.

Blue, this was their first time. We did team lines on the mules and Lee drove Duke on separate lines. I think I’ll go with the set up where you run short lines from the hames of the middle equine to the inside side of the bit of the outside horse or mule. I saw this in Rural Heritage.
