I was worried that folks would be wondering about the food at the Field Days. The Fair grounds has an excellent kitchen and we are planning to make good use of it.
Here is what we have so far, and more plans are in the works. let us know if you want to bring something or add something!
Field Days Meal Planning:
Thursday: Coffee, snacks, lunch we will plan to order for those in attendance. Thursday night we will have a potluck with a main dish (grilled meat) in the works.
Friday and Saturday: Coffee, fruit, bagel, available with donations accepted. A barbecue truck (Lakota Barb –B Q, http://www.lakotabarbq.com/menu.htm ) will be on premises both Friday and Saturday for lunch.
Friday Night we are having a Harvest Dinner and you need to register in advance to support this meal. Please go on our website to do that.
Saturday night: we hope to still have the BBQ truck to feed those still in attendance.
Sunday morning: The Teamster Appreciation Breakfast which Jean Cross is spearheading is a Field Days tradition that is a thank you to all of you. Donations from non teamsters are appreciated.
