Hellow my name is Brian but everyone calls me Eli (my middle name) we have 5 horses, a Appy, a Paint, a Morgan, and two American Bashcur Curlies with Suffolk Punch in their blood. The apply and paint are for riding the Morgan rides and drives. And I want to train the curlies to harness work. I have a little experience driving Gypsy (the morgan) we got her from a cousin all trained to drive, So I bought a harness and built a cart bought and restored a doctors buggy and am in the process of building a bobsleigh. I guess you could say I’m hooked, now I want to train Scarlet and Tenake (the curlies) to drive they are both broke to ride. I broke Scarlet this summer Tenake was broke when we got her she is very pregnant so we haven’t done much with her. We plan to start training as soon as the foal can let us borrow mom for a half hour. I would like to pull the bobsleigh this winter mabe a tall order but if scarlet takes to the harness like she did riding its possible. Tenake may have been under harness before years ago but not for sure. She came from Joe Mead a curly breeder from Montana through his brother Joe is gone mow so no one knows for sure. Both are easy to work with and love attention. I’ll stop now. thanks Eli

That’s cool I do service and refrigeration work all over northeast wi and know the area well. I checked out your web sight and like what your doing. I own 234 acres and dream of farming part of it with horses. I am in the process of training one of my curly horses to drive I hope to pull a sleigh with her this winter. Who knows maybe our paths will cross in Brussels on day. Eli
