For those of you who live in the Pacific Northwest, the Washington State Draft Horse and Mule Association is putting on a Hands-on clinic in Snohomish, Washington. Snohomish is a beautiful small town surrounded by small farms, located about an hour northeast of Seattle.
Demonstrations at this FREE clinic will include collar fit, harnessing the draft horse, hitching and driving single horses and teams.
This is a great opportunity for those who have been wanting to get started driving draft horses: there will be a fair amount of horses there for those who want to learn how to care for and drive them. The clinic is from 9 a.m til 4 p.m. with a potluck lunch at noon.

Check out the website, http://www.wdhma.org, for directions and more details.

    See you there!

Thanks for posting, I know this forum is weighed heavy on the Northeast side of the country, but we love to hear about other events that are going on.

If only to remind you Easterners that there ARE people living out here in the wild west that have modern things like electricity and running water and Internet!

But we have to share those modern things. So grey – who’s using the electricity tonight? I hope it’s my turn!

You can have the electricity if I can have the flush toilet!

I feel like I’m in the dark with no place to go…
