Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m a retired veterinarian and been a draft horse owner and enthusiast most of my life. I’m currently working my first pair of 2-year old Devon steers. When I’m not working these steers, you’ll find me tending my small commercial honeybee operation. Thank you for being a good source of draft animal information. Looking forward to gleaning more little tidbits to help in my training and connecting with others interested in draft animals.

Hi Steve, welcome aboard. We only live about 40 mi. apart. I live about 10 mi. east of Lowville,N.Y. This is a good site, I read it a couple times a day. Do you still have horses, if so, what breed??
