Hello everyone, I am very excited to have found this website as there seems to be many people here with the same interests as I. Teamsters are far and few where I live, so this is a great gateway to information.
I currently have a team of two and half year old percheron geldings. I have only ground driven them because I have been at school in Michigan for a good part of the last four years. I will graduate this spring and then I will be at home on our family farm most of the time, and working on ships part of the time.
I am very interested in using work horses to do as much as I can on our farm. With the price of fuel, tractors, and parts going up, it makes it more advantageous to use draft power. Also, I just love work horses.
