    I’m another newbie. I have had horses most of my life, but not draft animals. I have a small farm (50 acres) and no tractor, so I am hoping to add a few draft animals to help me with the heavy work and haul firewood out. Will look forward to learning from you folks!!

    Welcome, you are in the same boat I was 6 months ago. I bought a very nice team that has been training me. it is a lot of fun.

    Yes I do have paints. They are great all around horses and I have 2 that are learning to drive now. I’m in SW Virginia and raise a few cattle and have a smallish market garden right now. I’m planning to go up to the Mt. Hope OH sale next week (to look, not to buy!) and look at the price of working teams.
