My name is Jordan, I’m a 24 year old marine Corps veteran. I grew up working draft horses on our small 40 acre farm, learning from my dad who has worked the same piece of land out with horses and mules since he was 6 years old, and so small he had to harness standing on a bucket. We have always used them for garden work, logging, hay season, and several other jobs around the house. heres some pictures of us plowing taters out just this sat. I hope to learn plenty of stuff from some of you seasoned veterans, as only a fool knows everything. The horse in the picture is Big John, he is 16.3 hh, weighs almost 2200 lbs, and wears a size 28 collar.

Welcome, and its good to have a member of the younger generation. Congratulations on your service to our fine country. As you have been advised, look around and feel free to throw your two cents in when available. You have some good looking stock and harness. Carry on!
