Wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I have a coming 4yr old Belgian that I hand raised. She was out of a PMU mare we rescued. Pesto is now pushing 17.3 and is a complete moose. She is now broke to ride and drive and we are working her around the farm. I think
I have found a good seasoned gelding to pair her with. We skid logs, harrow paddocks and do other odd jobs. She really enjoys the logs. When she settles into that collar- Look out! I am enjoying it thoroughly, though need some mileage 😉
Here’s Ms Pesto and I on our way back in after harrowing the front paddock. Pardon the harness, she is growing so fast it is pieces of random harness. I am going to have to go with bio, I can’t lift this one.
Glad I found this group!

What type of harrow are you using with your single? Is it a pasture drag? I have a two year old that I want to do some light work with and I’m looking at implements he might be able to handle as a single. Thanks. Jennifer.
