Hi, my name is Roy and I live in Maine. My wife and I own a small farm and grow most of our own food. Our goal is to be as self sufficient as possible. Though we are not yet. I have owned a belgain mare for 3 years. I log with her and a small tractor in my own woodlot. This is how I make most of my income. I also own a small bandsaw mill and sell small amounts of lumber from logs harvested from my own property. I am fairly new at working with the horse, but I really enjoy it. I am lucky that my first horse is a good horse. She is very patience with me and has taught me alot. I would like to at some point use horsepower to do most of my logging and farming. Anyway, this site is very interesting and I am hoping to get some helpfull info. It will be good to chat with people with the same interests I have. Roy

Welcome, Carl
