Hi – I am retired and live with my wife on a 120 farm near Viroqua, Wisconsin. We have a team of Haflinger mares and do a little light farm work for myself and some Amish friends. Mainly they just get driven on the road. I enjoy anything on using horses for driving or work. I will try out adding pictures.

Cute mower…how does it work?

How do you like this for a log carrier. Takes them from the staging area to the sawmill or where ever.
PS they are not that fit anymore.

 How do they load those logs into that carrier?

When it is up, you run chains under it and chain it up. Then back over another one and lift it and another if there is still room. Works real slick. It is a big heavy homemade thing. I didn’t think the horses could pull it empty let alone with that load on it. Haflingers are tougher than many think.
