if you could e-mail me any info like age, model, where built and value that wouold be great.

No idea where built or anything like that, but I have one just like it. Probably worth about a hundred bucks unless it had new handles installed, then maybe 150.

It looks like the one setting out in my shed. Mine has no markings that I could find. Around here they bring several hundred dollars as the Amish are using them.

Just saw my Amish neighbor using one of these yesterday to harvest his potatoes.
I’ll ask around next time I’m over to see where they get theirs and if there’s a make/model number. I suspect they show up once in a while at farm equipment/antique auctions. Here’s one in Canada:

Mine is somewhat different than the one in the link posted above.

It has 2 wood handles to hold onto and it also has 2 smaller wheels on the front that are adjustable. The handles are mounted a bit wider with bracketts to mount it to besides on the front of the digger.

Then above and behind the digger blade, there are 2 smaller cone shaped covers or shields on top of the tines behind the digger blade.

I see them OCCASIONALLY at a huge sale I go to 1st sat of the month. Dont know what they bring. We always used a lister to bring up taters. I have one for that now. I use a schovel plow to dig the rows to plant them and a lister as it goes lower to bring them up
