Well I am back on DAP, but not back working with the horses. I had the knee replacement on 3-1 and all went well. Unfortunatley a slow recovery is a part of the process. I started walking the next day with a cane and can now walk unassisted. However walking behind horses is a ways off. Fortunatly I have Dad talked into starting the new colt when the mud dries up.

Good luck with the recovery, and just take it easy. You really only want to recover once.

    Take care, Carl

Take it nice and easy with your recovery. My mother had both knees replaced at the same time. Slow recovery, but well worth it in her mind. I think the “taking it easy” was the hardest part of her recovery!

Believe it or not I havn’t been to the barn in a week and a half. Between PT, excercises and the cpm machine there isn’t much time to get in trouble. There could be an occasional nap too.
