Hi all, I live on a 40 acre property with 2 small rescue mules and 3 donkeys, the donkeys being minis, but different sizes. I have a woodlot that I would like the donkeys to help with, as they don’t need as wide a path as the tractor.
We are doing groundwork, with the main plan to get them to learn to pull a cart, with actual work coming later. Any advice as to training and equipment would be greatly appreciated. My father used to farm with mules/horses, and I would like to experience in a small way how he lived.

Where do you live. I also have a small mule. She is 46 inches tall. I use her to hike with and to move bales of hay and shavings pulling a stone boat.
