I have a lead on a 5′ mower with curler. Needs new pitman, tongue, grass board and a grease and oil.
It comes with a “curler” to windrow the material. Can anyone tell me how well the curler works or if it is better just to rake separately. I mostly want to use this to cut windrow and burn dead growth fallow ground before plowing….Thanks, Kevin

It’s used on second cutting clover to make small windrows. These are then run through a combine to harvest the seed. It’s made of a series of springy, flat, bent metal strips that look something like the fingers of a hand lying on its back. Kind of hard to describe. I doubt it could handle a crop of any significant height. Bob

I will recheck the pics he sent but it doesn’t seem to have any special equipment on the mower except the grass board is quite long….
