I keep getting kicked out after 3 or 4 minutes…try to post and it says I’m “not authorized to post here” and to refresh the page, and sign in….even though I’m already signed in.

This seems to be epidemic. One solution seems to be to change browsers. Internet Explorer is the most ineffective. Firefox works well.

September 8, 2011 at 3:03 pm #68966Robert MoonShadowParticipantYes, I am…and now its getting worse. I was just reading Carl’s thread on the mixed-power horse/forwarder use, and after reading only 2 responses, I went to cross-reference in another thread, and was no longer logged in. I’m wondering if there’s some sort of ‘idle’ thing going on? What I mean is, on some sites, if there’s no activity for x amount of time, it logs you off for security reasons (like at your bank account), and if there is, then it’s gone bonkers? Makes it very difficult/irritating to read one thread and then lose track of which new postings you’ve read that day…when I log back in, it loses that, and shows (since I lasted logged in 5 minutes ago) that there are no new postings since my last visit.
September 8, 2011 at 6:50 pm #68960Carl RussellModeratorRobert, there is a box when you login that says something like “Keep me logged in” or Remember Me” or “Stay Logged In”. Maybe if you check that it will help.
