hi!
came across a video of the last operational and working boat mill in europe. and i mean the actual thing, an operational mill milling the grain for the community, not a floating museum. it’s in central serbia, and the video is a french video.
boat mills were a kind of a floating watermill, they were once widespread but today they are really rare. in fact, i know only two boat mills, this one and one on Mura river up north in Croatia. there are couple of others aroeund europe, but i dont know exactly where they are.
