Carl did your build your cart?
Just thought about this, do you think that Dapnet members would be able to purchase Les’s plans through Dapnet? Would he
consider doing something like that? Just wondering.

My son built a “piggyback” arch that mounts on his regular forecart,it has the chain set up like the cart that Carl R was showing. We tried it out last saturday and it worked “slicker than snot on a doornob”.I’ll try to get some pic’s this weekend and post them here.

No I didn’t, I worked for Les back in the ’90’s, off and on, and traded labor for this cart.

Yes I’m sure he would…… I’ll ask him.

Also the piggy-back arch design is based on this, and is a great piece of equipment, especially because it modifies a piece of equipment that one may already have.

I spoke to les yesterday. The accent barrier proved to be difficult but none the less he is very kindly sending plans over.

Carl. I believe there are factors in the design of this arch in relavence to draft angle and lift? Does that mean the size of the wheels are important as not to alter weight on the togune or shafts?
Also do you use it as a forecart for other duties around the farm
    Thanks

Thank you Carl, I like your carts set up but I think it’s above my level of expertise to build one.
