Somethings came up And I might be selling my log loader . It is a dandy and I really don’t want to sell it but it might be best for me right now. This Lyme’s has knocked me in the dirt. I can get by with out it ( I have for a long time ) but I do need some other things right now and with a baby on the way in a week or to ,,, well it cost money . If any of you might be interested e mail me at muleskinner4321@yahoo.com. I can send pics or any info you might want . This just came up tonight so ,,, like I said drop me an e mail if you want. It is the one in the pics with the Honda motor . I just want to pay off what I owe on it and not much else . It is a good loader for the money and can be pulled by a team , tractor , or truck. It really is about a handy a set up as I have seen. Let me know if you are interested ,, Thanks . Taylor Johnson

Can you lease it out to someone? Just a thought, I’d hate to see you get rid of it especially with the smaller wood you seem to be in. It is hard to get to that level and you will not be able to get into another forwarder like that for the money you gave for that one. When you get back on your feet you’ll be kicking yourself when you’re loading by hand…
Congrats on the baby 🙂October 20, 2009 at 12:27 am #54698TaylorJohnsonParticipantHey Scott thanks man I can hardly wait it will be my third kid in four years. At the end like this it seems to take forever but I know the day is near. I might drop you and E mail and pick your brain a bit about this loader. I don’t want to sell it ether it really is a nice loader but I might. Taylor Johnson

My husband sustained an injury from a logging accident a month ago. Which means no income from him period, for a month. We thought of selling some of the equipment, but everything is paid for except the log truck. If he sold some equipment, it would be more expensive for us in the long run to replace what was sold. He takes really good care of all his equipment, so could be find something half way decent again? So, we are trying to hold on to everything, because he will be going back into the woods. Maybe you could refinance the balance you owe to lower the payments or spread them out. Just look into every avenue before you make a final leap.
Finally, congrats on the up coming arrival of another child. Three children in four years…you and your wife are a brave pair! My three year old boy is like a human wrecking ball.

October 23, 2009 at 12:41 pm #54699TaylorJohnsonParticipantIt is all good know matter what I have to do . In most ways I have never had it so good in my life. In fact if I could make a deal with God and have this be my version of Heaven and I could freeze my life right here I would do it ,, well in a few day once the Baby is here. Even working a lot for a little I cant complain the Wife and Kids are all healthy I have 4 good dogs and a very nice team. My mom use to say if money is your only problem then you don’t have a problem you just have to figure out how to get some of it. Sometimes that is half the fun.
Miss Loggers Wife,
Your boy sounds like mine . Sullivan is 2 years old on Saturday and is ,, well like you said a 32lb wrecking ball. He keeps his mama on the move. He is going to hollow ween as a logger ( if you can believe that ) .
I get blessing thrown at me all the time so much so that I cant even believe it my self sometimes. Life is good with a few kinks in the mix once in a wile. Taylor JohnsonOctober 23, 2009 at 1:30 pm #54697TheloggerswifeParticipantTaylor…My husband tends to look at the glass half empty. I try to counter balance and look at it full. When he was injured all he could think about is that he wouldn’t have any income until he got back into the woods. I felt that was the least of my worries, my husband was still alive and my kids still had a father. That cannot be replaced!
My Mom reminds me….”You don’t have to look very far to find someone that has it worse then you.”
The only thing Jake wanted for this birthday in August was a “real logger helmet like Daddy.” Just when you want to set them on the side of the road with a Free Sign…they do or say something warms your heart and that my friend is something that no money could ever buy. 😮
Hang in there unfortunately we are all in the same boat, let’s just hope it doesn’t sink!

Sooo.. your boys birthday is this weekend and the baby is due in a few days. Spend a little more “quality” time at home in February and a little less in the woods, eh? 😉October 24, 2009 at 1:43 pm #54694BarwParticipantTaylor I could be interested in your log loader. What might yoube asking for it?
