For Sale:
4 Year old Redneck Roan Milking Shorthorn Ox. Works on offside, but prefers single work compared to having a slow team mate. Good sound mover, trims without stocks easily, grooms, bathes, clips, and trailers very well. He has a great respect for only a single hot wire and is an easy keeper. He is a pleasure to work single and is great for logging, gardening and other farmstead chores. Whoa is his favorite command and is happy to wait patiently while picking rocks or bucking firewood. He has been exposed to noisy equipment on working farms and forests and takes things with ease, and is fine with crowds of people in public situations. He is located in Abington, CT.

I will be bringing this Ox to the Draft Animal-Power Field Days, $2,200 takes him home with yoke and traces. We will be using him in the Thursday Oxen Workshop and throughout the weekend, so if you would like to have a day to get to know him this will be a great opportunity for you.
