I bought a mule recently and don’t really have a use for her. She’s a 2 year old hinny mule- a nice chocolate brown color. Very horse-like features. Full mane and thicker tail, not the big “jug” mule head. Very sweet and mellow. I just had her vaccinated for the year. She leads well, ties, sprays, bathes and trailers like a dream. I’m asking $300 if anyone is interested. Somewhate negotiable on price, but if she doesn’t sell, I’ll just keep her around and start her next summer. Pics available upon request. Mule located in northeast Nebraska.

Hi Clyde, You probably already know this but a hinney and a mule are two different things. The mule has a horse for a mother and the hinney has a donkey for a mother. Hinneys are not very common as the usually come about by accident. The only one I ever met did seem like a nice animal though.

Yup. 🙂 The woman I bough her from thought she was a hinny, but wasn’t sure. I don’t want to say she’s a mule if she’s a hinny and visa versa. To spare confusion, I’m not sure if she’s a hinny. Her thought in possibly being a hinny was she much prefers the company of donkeys to horses. She thought maybe having a donkey as a mom would create the preference. Not sure though.
