I put a new tongue on my cultivator yesterday (I finally found a 10′ 4×4 of red oak for sale locally. and only 10 bucks!) But unfortunately I realized its missing another piece I will have to fabricate. I am hoping someone can give me a measurement. Maybe even a picture. (unless someone has a spare sitting around!) the manual calls the part that bolts to the back of the pole the tilting quadrant and equalizer support. On the “tilting quadrant” is the lever that is used to adjust the pole height. towards the bottom of this lever is the spring and a square guide. In the middle of this guide is a hole that a “link” goes in and is secured with a cotter pin. the other end of the “link” then connects somewhere on the cultivator frame and is secured with a cotter. Still with me?! I am missing this link and don’t know where it connects on the cultivator frame. The picture in the manual doesn’t really show the link well. I’m guessing it can be made from 1/2″ round bar, but I don’t know the dimensions or where it connects on the frame.
