I am ready to part with my New Idea spreader. Not sure what model it is, but I pull it with my team behind the fore cart or tractor. Everything works on it – bed chain, levers, beaters, tongue jack. I have extra bed chain links and around here we are able to get them locally if you need more. It has been stored inside and used only for a day in the spring and a day in the fall. Bed boards are well used but functional. I am getting rid of it only because I don’t have much manure to spread and it is taking up valuable space in the barn. I bought it from Ben Canonica though I think it belonged to Les Barden before than. Asking $500 but may take less or barter.
