I just started by reading the forum page, then I realized I was learning more things than all the other websites put together! This from real people in real situations. Thanks you so much and I can’t wait to read more. My daughter and I are starting our adventure with draft horses. The barn is going up next week and then we will be working on stalls. I have had quarter horses and a shetland pony, but was always in love with the big horses. It must be a short person complex, i am 5 foot tall! 😉 My preference is belgians and it will be a journey for us to find a team for rookies! Looking forward to reading more.

Not sure if that add Geoff just posted is from Fremont Oh, or Mi. as I see Muskegon Craigslist. A few teams come up around here from time to time. Would be nice to know where to help you look!!

November 7, 2012 at 6:55 pm #75632Robert MoonShadowParticipantWelcome to you & your daughter – it’s cool to see a mother/daughter team (I think perhaps the first on here?). After the barn, but before the horses, may I suggest getting…a shovel? 😉
November 8, 2012 at 6:13 am #75638rookieParticipantThank you for the welcome and the good laugh! Our family has raised cattle for years so I think I can find a shovel! 😉
