Anyone make ox bells ?
I made a couple out of curiosity. The first one I have not finished. I used the acetylene torch to apply the bronze, thats what the green stuff is (flux). I still need to smooth the bronze out and do some finishing touches on it.
What do you all think ?
It sounds pretty decent too..

April 22, 2012 at 4:00 pm #52112oxmanParticipantYes, Mark, they can be. There are numerous other ways to change the tone and pitch, too. These should be tried before heat treating.
