Strangely judged event with great people, Hank Redfield of red springs, NC was first and champion in the oxen team division with an Oliver walking plow, Chris Davison of Forsyth , Georgia was second with a 2 bottom Oliver vineyard plow.

Congratulations Chris! It is nice that they have an oxen division, I wouldn’t have thought of it that far south, great that there was competition as well.

Thanks for sharing and it looks like you are doing a great job. Just out of curiousity, you are walking backwards because you are in a contest, right? Do you find yourself doing that a lot in the field too?

It goes with head yoke cattle and I was trying to slow them down!
When they’re in public they are speed demons!
At home not at all……oh well!

Chris, Is there a name on that plow? That’s a pretty smart outfit.
