    When I was a kid the pumpkins were so big we needed to oxen to drag them out of the field!
    Not really but hurricane Irene took out a culvert on my old farm road so all the pumpkins came out to the road side via my utility sled and Rock and Star.

    Had not thought of it until somebody else mentioned it, but this year I have 2 acres of carbon free pumpkins. Plowed, harrowed, cultivated and pulled to the roadside stand all with oxen.
