I have gotten a request from an Amish man traveling to Vermont for NEAPFD Oct. 17-18 for a remote cabin in Vermont, that he may be able to rent for a short time, where he might find some hiking trails, fishing, and camping, etc.
Anybody know of, or have something like that???
Please let me know. Thanks, Carl

Plenty of hiking and fishing, but a long way from the Tunbridge Fairgrounds.August 16, 2009 at 9:23 pm #53733JeanParticipantDo you want something that he can get to the fairgrounds from, or is he looking for something after wards? I have 2 friends that have cabins that they rent out. One on Holland Pond and one in Peru VT. Both remote, both with a lake either right there, or a short walk. Both have hiking. Holland Pond is nicer and has a canoe that can be used.

He is staying with a family in Randolph during the event, but wants to use the cabin for a short visit afterwards. I will speak with him tomorrow, and get more details, but those both sound perfect Jean.
I don’t need to spend a lot of time on this, and we usually don’t promote ourselves as arranging accommodations, but hopefully this won’t take too much.
Any others still out there, please pitch in, and thank you, Carl
