Got out today for the first time with my sap sled, which is basically a scoot with an extra crossbar in the middle. It works great, even with the long timbers. It works great, but I think if I use it a lot I will have to cut a lot more 8, 10, and 12′ logs in order to make a more balanced load. This video was taken in the middle of a long, mostly uphill, skid. The horses did well. I might’ve take a bigger load, but wasn’t wanting to over do it with the uphill skid.
