I saw an interesting documentary called “Seed Warriors” about the collection and storage of seeds worldwide in a remote underground (I think) seed bank in Norway.

It reminds me of an old sci-fi film called “Silent Running” in which whole ecosystems were sent into space in a sort of space station biosphere but the threat back then was thermonuclear war. Good film.
