I was just wondering if anyones tried self feeding silage. I’m thinking about doing it next year and wanted to get some opinions. Was reading Newman Turner’s “Fertility Pastures” and saw an interesting way of doing it. They were using 3 pt. hitch mounted buck rakes to build the silage clamps. Here’s a link to it http://www.journeytoforever.org/farm_library/turner2/turner2ch3.htm I would think that this is something that could be done with horses as well, which seems like an interesting posibility to me. Tell me what you think thanks.
