This site is full of good info, and the video of felling does a great job of conveying the basic principles of the “Swede-cut” method.
Should be just enough to pique curiosity and get people out in the field for formal training.
I’m of the opinion that it shouldn’t be some bastardized version, though. People need to learn the basic underpinnings of the technique from either a certified trainer, or someone that adheres to it pretty closely, and then can adjust certain details to their species/product/terrain after gaining some experience.
