Hey all, We will be holding the second annual Teamster Appreciation Breakfast on Sunday October 18th from 8-10 am during the field days. I’m looking for a few volunteers to help out with cooking and such. Anyone coming to the event who wants to help out, please PM/email me. Thanks.
Also, I wanted to remind everyone that this year we are triing to set up a community kitchen for the weekend at NEAPFDs, with a large vulcan stove and cooking utensils for cooking community meals. The aim is to bring people together over the evening meal as much as possible for fellowship and networking. So keep that in mind when you are planning your trip. I don’t know about your homes, but in my house, everyone always ends up in the kitchen 😀
Jennifer. (I can’t believe its almost September!)

I’m planning on being at NEAPFD and would like to assist w/ the breakfast but I need to know a bit more. Do you need folks to bring something or just cook/serve at the event? I’ll have been on the road for a while so I might have a hard time “whipping up some Buckaroo Breakfast” but …..

It is capable of broiling, cooking, baking, and griddling most anything you might imagine and will be available for general use for the whole event. It has six burners, 24″x24″ griddle, broiler, and two ovens. Any thoughts germane to the camp kitchen setup and what I might outfit it with to be most useful, you can let Jen know, or me directly.
Also, if anyone with a good towing vehicle going from the Champlain valley to the event and back could give my kitchen trailer a lift there and back, that would be very much appreciated and worthy of recognition and/or compensation.

And yes, it still needs a ride to the event. So anyone coming down from that area who has some room, let us know. The stove needs to arrive Thursday afternoon.

Wow! That’s awesome…and quite a drive! You bringing that moonshadow fellow with you?
Don’t worry about bringing food. I’ll find something fun and useful for you to do. Thank you! PM me your email address so I can include you in our preparation discussions. Jennifer.

I’ll be there with the paper products, etc. as last year. I’ll be glad to help anyway I can. See ya in Oct.
Looking forward to meeting our old & new members. I have relatives in Idaho…should be a good chat with Geoff.
