Volunteer Chiefs Needed for Field Days

Hello All,

I’ve been tasked with coordinating volunteers for Animal-Power Field Days in September.  Right now I’m looking for volunteer CHIEFS to start working on various areas, and to work with me to gather the hundreds of volunteer MINIONS who will be needed, later in the summer.

Right now I would love to hear from people interested in heading up the following areas:

Silent Auction and Raffle: Collect and solicit donations, organize, arrange logistics, create and set up ticket sales/auction, oversee event, provide a report of items donated and income generated, write thank you notes to donors.

 

Marketplace: Track participants, solicit vendors and exhibitors, organize and host the building, sign in and check out, take commissions, troubleshoot and problem solve.  Write thank you notes to vendors and exhibitors.

 

Reporter: Write press releases for local, regional, national and Canadian publications.

 

Saturday dinner: Plan, find a location, host, organize, solicit donations and sponsors, entertainment, etc.

 

Food: Find 3-4 food vendors, be their point of contact, troubleshoot and problem solve, organize, coordinate and host Friday night potluck.

The Draft Animal-Power Field Days will be held in Barton, Vermont at the Orleans County Fairgrounds, right off I-91, exit 25.
