Where do I go to get parts for grandpa’s plow? He thinks it’s an Oliver 99. He knows it’s an Oliver but the part he’s not sure on is the model. It’s in good shape but the point is one big rock away from busting and the landslide (???) is wore pretty thin. It’s kind of a funny setup and doesn’t use the regular ones like our other two plows. I’ll get some pics tomorrow to show you what I mean. Some of you might already know what I’m talking about if you’re familiar with these.

    Thanks.

If it’s an Oliver, there should be an “Oliver ‘??” cast into the steel on the back of the moldboard, near the base of the handles. It may be covered with soil etc. As far as where to get parts, I’m still working on that myself. Hopefully others will fill us in.

Good luck, Call is right, I have never seen an Oliver without a number on the moldboard, but I am not a plowman as these fellows above or Carl for that matter.

I found Oliver stamped on the back of the moldboard and R99 on the frame. What’s the part in the last pic called? It’s on the front of the point partially hidden behind the jointer.

Your plow has a separate point and share. More commonly, the point and the share are all once piece.
