well I’m on a roll buying things I don’t really need but hey, might as well get it while you can i guess.. I got this wagon from a woman in town, The mount points for the running gear is a little iffy but I’m gonna fix it. What is it worth?

May 6, 2012 at 2:57 pm #73634PeytonMParticipantwell whats the going rate for a wagon like this? all tires are like new, It needs a little work on the rear of the running gear, how they have the leafs mounted is wrong so I have to fix that but it isn’t a hard fix, a nice sunny afternoon and it would only take me a few hours.
I did notice all the tires have a good bit of play, like a wore out bearing but I dont think that this style tire would use a ball bearing… so any one know what kind of bearings were used? or was it a bushing that was put on it?
thanks

May 9, 2012 at 2:49 am #73635PeytonMParticipantwith steel rims that have the hubs mounted to them do they have a special bearing? or is a bushing? the wheels have a lot of play and I think there should be a bearing out but there isnt much room from what I can see for a bearing, I also think the wheel on there isn’t the right one because there are shims about an inch long to keep them some one in place… I’ll have pics of it up over the weekend cause I’m going to be working on it hopefully.

Yeah…a lesson I learned on that, is that if you check around too much, you’ll be greatly pleased when you find someone that paid a lot more for something similar…right up until you find someone that paid half what you did.
The main question I see is: do you like it?May 10, 2012 at 4:56 pm #73636PeytonMParticipantwell I paid 150 for the wagon and a cutter that is a little rough… the wagon needs some things changed and I haven’t had time to hook to it yet, It will be done sat. I’ll get some pics up of it also.
