Stony Kill Farm is a 1,00 acre environmental and education center in N.Y.’s Hudson Valley. They are hosting a winter day on the farm event February 10th with weather delay date Feb. 24th. They will have many activities, but have invited teamsters to drive sleighs to demonstrate traditional methods of transport.
It is a wonderful way to introduce a young suburban crowd to the possibility of draft animal power.
If any in the area would be interested in attending, please call or text Gaby Conway at (845) 430-6328. We can assist in trailering, and possibly loan a sleigh—depending on fit.
