Jean….The “Good Christian” should get a visit from the Department of Insurance and Banking. My guess is, if they find the overcharge and no refund…he won’t have to worry about meeting his sales goals or numbers anytime soon!:p

There are bad eggs in any community, even Christian ones. Too bad the folks at his church probably don’t know what he’s doing so they can straighten him out.

As for cash-only vs banking, as long as I live in a dangerous neighborhood, I’m quite happy to have my money in plastic form, which is not so easy for a thief to spend. If I lived elsewhere where theft was rare, I might feel differently. Banks do serve a purpose and overall benefit society although they do have more than their share of bad eggs in their community.

The loggers wife had a very good point and as far as carying cash I learned early in life working in places like detroit new york jerrsey that you keep small amounts in your pocket and the larger amounts some where hidden! Dont get me wrong I keep money in the bank I just try to keep it where the bankers cant get at it!
