Cool vid Tim. Will seems to be right in to it cool and relax no worries and you too. What kind of trees are these looks like ash and poplar? Also are they sold to the mill, for boards, how much a cord or mfb? Nice big trees in the backgroud too.

Very nice……. how the heck do you get an ox to move that quick?????/:rolleyes:

I love the angles you use. I really appreciate that you show aspects that are important to people who want to do the work.

    Keep it up, Carl

Great video, that is a good day’s work for sure. How is the rope fastened on the at the fixed end?

Tim, have you sold the rights to this yet? Maybe time for a career change……Hollywood is calling. Excellent film, thanks. Keep them coming.

Almost all white ash, dead or in serious decline from emerald ash borer. No market for ash, $125 MBH sawlogs average stumpage. A lot of firewood in there. Carl, Will sets the pace, I just try to keep up . Yes, the angles can be cool, one thing I like about video is I get to see the work from angles I normally would not see (unless something went terribly wrong ). Ed, in this case I just made a big loop with an overhand knot and slipped the loop around the front, bottom log. Thanks for the compliment, George.

It’s a pity. The video is not available in Germany, because of the copyright of the music in it.

Thats too bad about the music. I like the song but I found I got more out of the video by muting it and just watching the action. It is impressive to see what one ox and one man can accomplish in a day. That is a great video, Tim what are you using to shoot these with?

Sometimes I use a flip video recorder. For this one I used a Sony HD-CX130.

Yet another great video Tim. For those of you who never tried this, it is not as easy as Tim and Will make it look. I spent a lot of time stacking logs on my landing this winter/spring and ended up with a criss-crossed mess as often as not. I realized using a peavy is a art in its self. I am sure stacking logs on the landing is the area I have with the most room for improvement. Thanks for showing us the right way to do it.

Your videos are great Tim! If you could find someone to fight with or some way to make it look perilous maybe you could be on next seasons ax men.

That’s it. They were hard pressed to make the horse and ox crews look like morons though.
