I run my team of mules with pigeon blinders and my Suffolk
team with out blinders.I think blinders in heavy bush give
    some degree of protection.

I would take any 20″ collars and wooden hames to fit for a team of mules.

I was wondering the same as Ronnie about the difference between the single bob and the scoot.
Ed cleared some of it up.What would the difference be between a shortened bob sleigh and the
scoot.I know my grandfather and uncles just used the bob sleigh.Their bob sleigh had cross chains
attached to the rear runners and turned quite sharply.

We have used aspen with good results but mower is kept under cover when not in use.
We just use what is at hand.Mower pole is 14′ in lenght.

Just make small 4×4 round bales in the field with motorized forecart and 4 horses.
Pick the bales later with horses when convinent.

I made wooden boxings for my disc out of maple.Turned them on the lathe.Bored a hole
in the centre then lathed to size.Cut in half on band saw.Put grease nipples in casting.
    Works great.

We have a 97′ GMC 6500 Top Kick and a 26′ Norberts tri-axle stock trailer.
Used to have Dodge 1 ton but now no load is too heavy and lot easier on pulling truck.

Hi Near Horse I would go for the 24′ as we have one and love it.
Had a 16′ and a 20′ but the 24′ is ideal put wagon or sleigh and gear in front
and team in the rear.Oh mite mention the 24′ is a tri-axle and pulls like
    a dream.
