I got swept up in things going on around here and completely FORGOT about our board meeting. I am working all week-end and I have a meeting on Monday at UMass.
Jen would you like to come and sit with us so that we can begin to see what we can do to help with a lot of the stuff that you are struggling with….don’t forget we have figured out how to do a lot of this stuff with no money…we can share whatever we have to help DAPNET get up and running. I want to link the DAPNET site and start promoting it but I think you still want to make some changes to the website before that…anyway lets make a date.

I have a horse down, not sure what the problem is…he collicked a couple of weeks ago..have to wait for the vet. I am finally mostly caught up with my work around BSE..so Jen I will be in touch about the website…and I am willing to do anything you guys think I can do for you. If anyone wants the newsletters we printed…with a page on DAPNET …just send me your address and I will send them to you. Have a good meeting..wish I could be there!

I am at a cafe in Amherst writing this. We are still without phone or internet on our farm…..but we will be fine by then…so you can count me in.
ParticipantAt Blue Star we also have membership fees and it has a real value when we hold workshops or other events…they are discounted or free for members…We created a brochure that describes our mission….the different levels of memberships and the benefits that come with that…having a logo or image that is consistently used is really important (branding) so to speak…so that people start to see the logo and realize what they are looking at right away. If you like I can send everybody a copy of our membership brochure to get an idea…Ethan if you wrote some copy and choose some photos I could draft a sample brochure for everyone to look at…this way we could all print them as we need them…I could pass them out our events and at the University. We are encouraging the students at UMass in our draft program (22 of them) to get involved in DAPNET and especially the forum where they can reach out to other teamsters and get some of their questions answered…anyway…it would be good to have brochures to hand out to them too…they are great “calling cards”
