The stud is not one of the horses in the video. We just had his siblings, 3 geldings and a filly.
Larry (the only man in the video) has the filly.
JeanParticipantthe horse that got the highest bid is a pulling horse, belgian.
JeanParticipantThe siblings of Larry’s horses are in the video listed under events and suffolk punches at everything equine. There is his full sister, the yearling, and l think all the others are by the same sire, but different dams.
The horses are 3 yrs (2 of them), 2 years and 1 yrs
JeanParticipantGood to see Larry’s stud for sale here. He is a beautiful horse.
Jean
JeanParticipantYou heard right! The horses that I picked to post on DAP were both no sales. If people want I can post some pics of the horses that did sell.
I sold a cart that I had finished refinishing minutes before I took it the auction. I don’t know if what I made from the sale covered the cost of the paint. It was too small for anything I had here and I guess I saved money by not buying a smaller horse to go with the cart. (that is just a little insight in how women can justify about anything kind of a sale).

JeanParticipantWill you have employees? If you are running as a sole prop your house, all savings, any assets you own will be on the line if you get sued. Having a LLC will protect some of that. Setting up an LLC is less expensive then being incorporated, however either will add work to your end of year taxes.
This answer is coming from a payroll person and not an accountant or lawyer, best to check with either of them for your own situation and state laws.

This video was made by one of the members of GMDHA of Larry Newcombes 4 Suffolk Punches. Walking the horses were Larry, with 1 year old Lilly, Pam Newcombe with 2 year old Dutch, Ann Dunn with 3 year old Jim and me, Jean Cross with 3 year old Diamond. Lilly and Dutch are for sale and Larry may also have a stud colt for sale. If you want his information let me know. He is located in NY state.

JeanParticipantGood to see he is up. Hope to hear about improvement throughout the weekend. I would have gotten up at the first sign of all that garlic. Can’t eat the stuff, myself.

Can’t help you with the west of Montreal question, but I have a question for you.
Do you consider your Canadians a draft horse? I also own a Canadian and I call him a draft, however when I showed him in a draft farm class last summer there was grumbling that he was not really a draft horse and I should not have been allowed to show him. The judge must not have minded, since he placed us first in the ladies team farm class, but some other people showing did mind.
I do not intend to show him much, but he did love the attention and really perked up when the crowd clapped as we did our victory lap. We were teamed with a spotted draft.
I would love to see some pictures of your Canadians.
Jean
JeanParticipantRobin – So sorry to read about your horse. Jean
JeanParticipantI wish I lived closer Jen, I would love to help in some way.
Jean
JeanParticipantYou guys look great! What an awesome way to spend a spring day. Maybe you could make Andre an offer?

Here is a link that gives a lot of information about feeding them.
JeanParticipantWanted to clear up that it was me that talked about chatting too much to my horse, not Jen.
I appreciate all the responses and it has clarified my thoughts on the chatting. Keep it to a minimum! I thought I was a quiet person, but I think that Kruiser would disagree with me.
Near Horse, I hear you about if that is what it takes to get me out there working him, then it is better than nothing. I think that I am reassuring him, but in reality I am reassuring myself.
