Andy, I hear what you are saying. However, I have been asked to do a mass email to our members a couple of times and it is a royal pain the butt. Most email hosts will only allow 50 emails be sent at a time without it being considered spam, which meant I had to break up the list of people into 50 people blocks. It took me hours to send a simple email.

We have over 500 people that have signed up for the enews, by doing that they have said they are interested in getting something from us. I am working on doing an enews to get out this weekend. I have not done one yet, I will tell you how hard it is when I am done.

I would not like to see the enews replaced with an email. Just my two cents.

Mark, I so agree, I cringe every time I see or hear “gentle giants”.

Goat Man, good to have you here. Great to get some more mule stories. Your mule sounds like my percheron. Great to harness, takes a saddle no problem. Get her to move her feet, well that is a whole different ball of wax. I grew up in Brookline VT, very familar with the Williamsville area. We all love to see pictures, so please start posting!

hot water, apple cider vinegar, local honey. 1 mug of water, 1 tablespoon vinegar, enough honey to sweeten it. Great stuff if you have a cough.

Animals seem to adapt pretty well. Especially if they have someone they can lean on. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/01/25/blind-sled-dog-wows-tourists-in-new-hampshire-town/

I hope those kids know how lucky they have it. Great pond, super good horse, parent who will let them live! Would love to see some shots of them hitting the jumps square.

I have noticed that recently with my older mare (25+, percheron). I fed her on the ground earlier this week because she had pooped in her bucket. I put the food where I normally put her hay. She could not find it. I finally put her hay over it and figured she would get to it eventually. She also bumps into me when I go in to the hay room. At first I thought it was out of disrespect, but she steps back right after she hits me, as if she did not know I was there. It is amazing how they can function with limited sight.

Ed, you do not need a professional video person in the Lincoln Woods. You can do a fantastic job if this video is any indication. I loved it. Oz is so good.

It was at the NEAPFD in Amherst that I heard Neal tell the crowd that Bechka was a patter and he was a rubber. I guess that combination works. Congratulations to both you and your families.
