Here is a picture of my team one.
JeanParticipantI agree with Rod. I have gotten a harness for my mule from them and they were great to work with. I bought my mini team harness from an amish dealer. It is good, but the quality in chimacumtack is better. My team one is hames and collars. Let me see if I can find their name. They were at HPD and at the 2010 NEAPFD.
JeanParticipantOk, good news. Bradley is pretty sure The Farm School can do the cooking. No soy hot dogs needed.
As far as lowering the price, we need to make enough money to cover the cost of the teamsters bringing in animals. I don’t think it is right to ask them to do this for free. For this kind of workshop I think this is darn cheap for members and non members, so if you want me to raise the price for the non members but keep it the same for members I am ok with that, but leaves grow on trees – not money.
Just my 2 cents worth.
We seriously need to get this put to bed if it is going to happen. I want it listed on the calender here and on our facebook page, but until you all figure out what you want to charge we can not.
JeanParticipant
Bradley contacted me and I made some slight changes. His insurance is a good for this event. I seriously need someone to tell me it is a go and to give me some direction if what I have written is not what you all thought the event would be.I am waiting to hear from Bradley about who will be providing the food, us or the Farm School. If it is us I will need some help planning the menu. I am a strict vegetarian, so you do not want me doing that on my own, or you will all be eating soy hot dogs.

JeanParticipantHi, I have done the registration form over. I am going to include it in the newsletter unless I hear otherwise. The newsletter should be in the mail next week.
JeanParticipantGood questions Erika, I would really like the answers to. I have not put a lot of effort into this because I have not gotten a real direction. I am happy to help, but the board, or the event committee needs to pin down some answers first.
JeanParticipantI have done a first draft of the registration. I would suggest someone write a page of what the agenda and what the event is about. We can include this sheet, one side about the event and one side with the registration information in the newsletter as an insert.
Let me know what you think. The cost is the same as Baily’s.
JeanParticipantHi Ed, I did not get the email. Can you send it to me again?
Jean
jmnvt@yahoo.comJeanParticipantThat looks just like the ones that we made at a Green Mountain Draft Horse meeting!
JeanParticipantI have ads so far for this newsletter from Horse Progress days, Midwestern Harness, Shop talk, Draft Horse Journal, Lucky trailer sales, and Rural VT.
JeanParticipantI am still waiting on the cover story, I think it should be about the field days with some pictures. Once I get all the text in I will start sharing it with others to help with the editing.
JeanJeanParticipantPlease try again, I made one more change. I am headed to the hospital and will not be able to work on this again today. Jen if you need to go in and make any changes delete all the html stuff and if I can I will work on it tonight, but don’t count on it. I can get back at it tomorrow.
JeanParticipantI think I got it back. At least I can see it. I put a better picture up of the mules too. The last one the drivers arm was up in the air kind of weird.
JeanParticipantTry it now, I was messing around and changed the name of the front page. You should be able to get to it, just by clicking on the word Home at the top.
JeanParticipantPeople, please look at the front page and let me know if this is what you had in mind. I just want to say it was a blast getting my geek on. I so missed my calling, I love messing with HTML.
