Miles, Do you know Pat Palmer? He is over your way and would be a great person to talk to about the hitch. He has moved all sorts of things with his percherons.

And if you get rejected, in error, please shoot an email as well. We do our best to sort out the trolls and spambots, and occasionally boot a good citizen, because their email is a little funky. A better way to sort is on my ‘to do’ list….

Robin, can you elaborate on what you mean by this. It seems out of context with the discussion and I don’t understand what, exactly you are saying. Sorry, I’m blonde…sometimes things have to knock me over before I see them.;)

I have it set so everyone should be able to access it, even if looged out. Kenin, Try logging out and then back in. Jean and I will keep working on it today. If anyone does get in and can see the home page, please let me know what you did. Currently I cannot view the home page, unless I log in. J

Yeah, This is definitely a case of ‘out of the frying pan and into the fire’. My apologies, we are trying to get the Home Page fixed up and have only a kindergarten education. Anyone out there interested in helping us? We should have it all sorted out today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ethan, I was going to post individual posts about committee needs in the first forum ‘DAPNet Communication/Outreach’. I agree, we need to stimulate some interest in our larger membership. If you want to get the ball rolling, please feel free. I think the Newsletter committee and the website committee (me) could use immediate help. The Events committee as well. Post what you have and I will chime in or add. Thanks. Jennifer.

Ethan, Try logging out and restarting your computer. I checked out your User status and nothing has been changed. If the problem persists, let me know. J

OMG, Jean, is there anything you can’t do???!!!! That’s awesome. I did not read the copy through but the look is good. Can you figure out how to remove the widgets on the left hand side. I think they are annoying and useless. Thanks again. J

Ethan, I’ve taught myself to work off to one side or another ground driving. It does take some practice to keep even line pressure, but with a seasoned, well trained team, I think its your best option in regard to seeing what’s ahead of you. I once tried to drive my team over a trash can, because I couldn’t see it…..they were not amused. Its tougher in the woods. I tend to stop periodically, step off the trail and reconnoiter the path ahead alttle bit at a time. My team is 18 hands plus.

I would love to participate with my team of percherons. Sounds like quite an adventure! How much horse power do you think you need? I’ll put the word out on our FB page as well.
