You may participate if you wish. There should be plenty of work to do in the woods. Jen will not have a single there so we may need horses to twitch to the landings.
Bradley Teeter would be better to chat with as he and Joe Zorin are working to lay out the cut.

Draft Animal Power NetworkDAPNet will be constructing a log scoot as part of the Logging workshop at the Farm School in Athol, Ma December 8th and 9th.
…Ticket sales will be used by DAPNet to help fund future events and clinics.
Tickets are $10.00 ea or 2 for $18.00 and may be purchased at the event and the scoot will be available for some lucky teamster to take home at the end of the weekend.
You do not have to be present to win, however the winner will be responsible for pick up at the Farm School.

If you don’t need the team I might just drive down Sun without them. Let me know. Thanks.

Weekend Agenda
Agenda for the forestry workshop to be held at The Farm School in Athol, Ma. on Dec. 8 and 9 2012, featuring Carl Russel and Joe Zorzin. If you have questions, please see the registration table to direct you to the location of the events.
Saturday December 8th:
8:00 Breakfast, Arrival and Registration
9:45-10:00 Log Scoot introduction and beginning of the construction and continuing through out the weekend
10:00 Introductions, work in the Forest. There will be someone talking about what the foresters are doing and you will be able to ask questions.
Discussions, Techniques, and Draft Animal Logging Demos
12:00 Lunch, Hand out event survey’s Silent raffle will happen during lunch and dinner
1:00 Back to the Woods
5:00 Chores
Dinner to Follow
After Dinner Logger, Teamster, Forester Panel Discussions
