So I’m new to the whole horse drawn thing, with a lot of learning to do. So far I have two Percheron, no harness, and the old plow that a friend gave me is stamped 19RH. Even with our mild soil type I don’t think two horse power is gonna be enough for that. On the plus side, I have been an amateur smith for many years, (not a knife smith). So, that’s me here with loads of questions. But I’ll get to that.

We’re up in Washington County, outside Prairie Grove. If you’re up this way, let me know! Not many draft animal folks here.

I might have to plan a trip up, if you have time to do some teaching.

Well, I’d be a bad teacher, I think–we’ve only been working with horses for about six months–I think all i could teach would be bad habits!
