    We disced the garden for the final time yesterday and then planted the corn, pumpkins, peppers and tomatoes, also some cabbage and onoins. This was the first time hitching Balzac and Ozzie to our newly aquired McCormick Deering disc.

    It gave them a real good workout and turned the soil and cow manure well.

    Thanks Mitch, I hope things are dry up in Maine. We have had a lot of rain lately and had to put off planting the last week or two. It was nice to see the sun for a couple of days.
