I read all the posts about logging and being careful not to skin up the trees left behind. Here is something that has worked for me a couple of times.. If I need to make a cornner that will chance rubbing a tree that I don’t want rubbed,and moveing he trail will not help. I have been known to plant a good fence post, just to be used to corrner up the logs as they make the cornner.That way the trees are not skinned. You can just leave them standing, might use them again before they rot off.
