I recently was contacted by a landowner in Schenevus, NY, just off I-88 about 70 miles west of Albany, NY. He has a small harvesting project including some wildlife patch-cuts with Equip Grant funding through NRCS.
He has some land for posturing animals during the operation if anyone wants to travel and stay there for the duration. There are some access issues that he believes will make animal power favorable over machinery, and would like to hear from folks in his region.
